Parish cave
A uniek attraction in Valkenburg is the experience of the parish cave by train!
This parish cave has a fascinating collection of artistic expression and living conditions of many generations of people. You will find murals of the past en remains of the things that people build inside the cave. In this cave an atom shelter was build during the cold war. Experience this dark and mysterious maze under the guidance of a guide.

The Velvet cave and castle ruins
The velvet cave is of origin a prehistoric sea floor.
Block breakers were already active in the Middle Ages inside this cave back to marl for their castles and houses. Follow our guide on an amazing tour though these caves and experience the legends of the mazes, darkness, murals and sculptures. The unique escape tunnels from castle Valkenburg and the castle itself give’s you a spectacular look at how the knights must have lived.

Chairlift & Toboggan-slide.
The telpher line brings you to the 68 meters, were you can enjoy a terrace, café restaurant and the great run’s. With high speed you can go down of a run with a length of 325m. or 375m.
The drag lift will bring you back up for another go. This attraction is fun for the young and old. Perfect for companies, schools and families.

On top of the Cauberg lays the Holland Casino. With a beautiful view over Valkenburg, the spa and the Geul Valley.
